- Geographic Access Analysis Template
To ring in the new year, we are offering our
Geographic Access Analysis template for $99.95 (regularly $149.95)
until February 28.
This Microsoft Excel template can take a matrix of X
and Y locations (these could be stores, customers, warehouses, delivery
points, etc.) and create a comprehensive report showing which X
locations are closest to all Y location targets, or vice versa.
It works with CDXZipStream Bing version or higher.
The template first automatically determines if each
address can be matched to a location in either Bing Maps or Microsoft
MapPoint; you can select which mapping source to use. If a
match is found, CDXZipStream geocodes the location to determine its
latitude and longitude. These points of latitude and longitude
are used to calculate straight-line distances between all
combinations of locations.

Geographic Access Analysis Using Microsoft Excel

To purchase the template, login to your account on CDXTech.com,
and from the CDXZipStream menu select "Buy Data Update",
then under "Data Product" select "Geographic Access
Analysis Template". You must have already purchased the
CDXZipStream Bing version or higher to see the template listed.
If you would like to upgrade your license to the Bing version,
select "Upgrade Licenses" from the CDXZipStream menu and
follow the purchasing process.

New Website Tool for ZIP Code Lookup
We now provide a ZIP Code Lookup tool on CDXTech.com
that provides corresponding city, county, state, congressional
district information, elevation, land area and water area, latitude
and longitude, as well as the latest population estimate from the
U.S. Census Bureau.
Here is an example of the output:

"Data Definitions" to get information about each data item.

"Tools" menu at the top of the website. Here is the direct

Latest Data
Updates
Canadian and
U.S. data feeds of CDXZipStream were updated as of January 26.
There were 156 changes made to the U.S. database this month.
If you would like to update your database to reflect these
changes, select the "Account" option on the
CDXZipStream commandbar and click on "Check for Available
Database Updates". You can then update each database as
required.
CDXZipStream
updates are a part of the one-year software maintenance
subscription included with your purchase. If you would like to
extend your subscription, please sign in to the CDX Technologies
website and from the account area for CDXZipStream, select "Buy
Data Update".
