CDXGeodata Now Supports Google Maps

We are pleased to announce that CDXGeodata, our comprehensive suite of geospatial data services, now supports Google Maps for routing and geocoding. This addition complements our existing integrations with HERE Technologies and Bing, providing our users with more options and flexibility to meet their diverse location analysis needs. All of our CDGeodata Excel Add-ins and Excel Templates have been updated to support Google Maps integration.

CDXGeodata is a robust platform offering a wide range of geospatial services, including address validation, geocoding, routing, and distance calculations. Designed to integrate seamlessly with your applications, CDXGeodata empowers businesses to leverage accurate location data for improved decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer engagement.

These services are accessible via user-friendly APIs, web interfaces, and now, updated Excel Add-ins and Excel Templates. This makes it easy for both developers and non-technical users to incorporate geospatial data into their workflows.

Integrating Google Maps into your CDXGeodata experience is straightforward:

  1. Get a Google API key: Using your Google account, visit https://console.cloud.google.com to set up an API key..
  2. Update Your CDXGeodata API Calls: Modify your existing CDXGeodata calls to specify Google Maps Your Google API key will need to be linked with your CDXGeodata API key.  This can be done in your CDXGeodata.account, portal or in the Excel templates and add-ins.
  3. Test and Deploy: Utilize our development environment to ensure everything works seamlessly before deploying to production.

Licensed CDXZipStream users can apply for a free CDXGeodata development API key with 1000 tokens per month at the following web page. The development key will reset each month but will not roll-over unused requests. For higher usage levels and commercial use blocks of additional token requests can be purchased at this link. The tokens are available for up to one year after purchase.
